I'm going to buy OpenBCI's Biosensing Starter bundle. It costs $829USD and this kit allows you to to "acquire and view EEG, ECG, and EMG raw data in real-time." Which is exactly what I want.

A 10-20 System has 21 electrode positions.

A 10-10 System has 74 electrode positions.

The average human adult scalp has 100,000 – 150,000 hair follicles.

What if, in the future, we could create hair follicles that functioned as electrodes? We would have 3.3 orders of magnitude more sensors to measure and record brain activity.

What if, a future non-invasive BCI (brain computer interface) will be a wig?

Haha who knew wigs could be the future. That'd be funny.

And what if you could customize that wig as easily as you customize your phone's wallpaper? Long hair one day. White hair another. Curly blue hair another. And glowing red hair on Sunday, just to see how my Tias react.

I started re-watching Lex Fridman's interview with the Cursor Team. I've been using Cursor to build things at work and outside of work, and I'm very interested in the team's perspective about how they designed, built, and trained the models powering Cursor.

The foundation of the computer I want to build will require training an ai-model to transform my brain activity (and other inputs) into emotional outputs in real-time.
