Between Thursday and this morning (Saturday) I was able to finish creating the experiment setup.

I am connecting to my 3 devices (webcam, heart rate monitor, brain activity monitor), selecting a movie, and choosing an emotion to measure during the movie watching.

The last step is to create the database modeling to handle all the experiment test data relations and test the capture of the data.

I'm going to start with a 2min video with 1, 30sec video clip.

If that works and the data looks good. I will double. And I will double or triple several times more until I'm confident I can reliably capture data during video clips for a 2+ hour video (aka a movie) with 15+ video clips.

I found a really cool YouTube channel. It's called NeuroTechnology Exploration.

The channel has very thorough, professional videos on introductory topics to understand neuroscience from a various fields (anatomy, physiology, technology). And it even has a very advanced video on EEG and BCIs.

This is the level of understanding I'd like to develop over the next few years to have a much firmer sense of the field's limitations and potential to create the emotional monitor computer I'm trying to build to quantify the biology of emotions, and in turn, some types of mental health disorders.
